I first became curious about iRest® as an anxious 19 year old because it offered me a place of rest where I didn’t need to try and fix or change myself and where I could learn to feel my wholeness, worth and deep inner freedom, just as I was. At first that landed as a beautiful concept, with practice it became more embodied.
Rather than providing a quick fix or a solution to the messy parts of life (I've stopped believing there is one and isn't there beauty in the mess anyways?) the practice has supported me to live in wholeness so that I could meet difficulties wisely, integrate challenging emotions, beliefs and patterns from my past, cultivate great joy in simply being and stop holding myself back from the things I truly longed for.
I have seen this practice touch so many lives and lived its benefits first hand.
