Here's the thing, I am all for thinking things through, healing and calling in what we truly deeply, long for, it's just that the reality of it (as I see it) is far messier, more beautiful and less controllable than that.
Thank goodness.
What I have found time-and-time again through years of study, meditation and client work is that it is when we truly get in touch with what is true and present inside of us- our deepest longings, the old hurts, the limiting beliefs, our sense of purpose, we can come home to the beauty of life in this moment just as it is.
Maybe that sounds out there but stay with me for a moment.

My name is Katy and I'm a meditator, nature lover and creative writer with nearly 20 years of experience working in the healing arts.

I have been a certified iRest teacher since 2010 and practicing since 2005.
I have practiced and studied many different forms of meditation, most intensely iRest® yoga nidra (a secular form of meditation with ancient roots in Kashmiri Shaivism), Atma Vichara, and the teachings of Advaita Vedanta. My offerings draw primarily from these traditions which are both secular and spiritual. Although the forms may vary slightly, what they have in common is their focus on internal investigation, welcoming, and the direct experience of your own inner truth. This is paramount in my work and offerings
